Snurblog goes live...

It's taken a while, but finally this site is directly accessible to outside users - so if you're reading this, welcome ! There have been any number of delays, and I would have liked to get this online earlier - but the lack of content for the general information pages meant that I didn't want to launch yet, and the delayed launch meant I didn't blog as regularly as I wanted to. Now I'll try and provide more frequent blog entries as the year progresses.

I've also added plenty of links to my recent articles, as well as my PhD and Honours theses (incidentally, today is the second anniversary of my submission of the PhD thesis). The Honours one still looks pretty bad - the original files were in Amiga Final Writer format, and I've yet to find a converter. Might need to reformat these from scratch...

Plenty of other news as well, and hopefully I'll add a few information pages on this soon - Liz Ferrier and I are continuing our work on edgeX, the emergent digital grassroots eXpo project; I'm also involved in a Collaborative Tools research project in the new Australasian CRC for Interaction Design at QUT; and I have a contract with Peter Lang Publishers to publish a book about gatewatching (see my research articles for more information).

Oh, and semester one starts on 1 March. Fun, fun, fun.
